GDHS Partners with bKash to Revolutionize Health Services

Grameen Digital Healthcare Solutions (GDHS) has embarked on a transformative journey to combine healthcare and financial services, enabling millions to access healthcare directly through their mobile devices. To facilitate this, GDHS has signed a memorandum of understanding with bKash, one of the leading mobile financial services (MFS) providers in Bangladesh.

The partnership allows GDHS users to experience seamless and secure transactions through bKash's reliable payment system. Patients can now conveniently pay for medical consultations, tests, and health products using the bKash platform.

Grameenphone announced the initiative in a press release on Sunday. The signing ceremony was attended by GDHS CEO Dr. Ahmad Arman Siddiqui, along with key executives including Kazi Waqar Ahmed (Financial Advisor, Grameen Telecom Trust), Mohammad Solaiman Russell (CTO, GDHS), Hasibul Hasan (CMO, GDHS), Toufiq Ahmed (Finance Lead, GDHS), and Barrister Ahmed Rakib Malik (Legal and Compliance Lead, GDHS).

Representing bKash were Ali Ahmed (Chief Commercial Officer), Hossain Md. Shahidul Haque (EVP and Head of Department, Business Finance), Md. Tayeb Hossain Chowdhury (General Manager, Merchant Payment), and Faisal Shahid (EVP and Head of Department, Merchant Payments).

This collaboration is expected to simplify healthcare payments and enhance access to digital healthcare services for millions across the country.
